b43 and b43legacy
After about 15 minutes fiddling around with these settings all at a sudden I had a connection again. Then, when i uninstall the ndiswrapper and try to use the broadcom sta, it simply doesnt work well.
You need to log in to change this bug's status. I started out with the bcm43xx-fwcutter and firmware.

I guess it has something to do with the update. Wireless is active under STA, but I didn't activate it.
Open Hardware Drivers jockey? Since it came with Broadcom STA driver preinstalled, i've never experienced problems. I then opened Jockey again and selected the b43 driver I didn't reboot.

The only problem I have found with the STA drivers is that they don't sga for packet injection. Jockey just installs it. Back to top Switching between drivers If you card is supported by more than one driver then use the modprobe command to test the drivers.

So i've installed ndiswrapper, and for Enlightenment, it worked well! Again ssta downloaded the driver, installed it, and said that you need to reboot unavoidable, sorry. This bug is not nearly important enough to be SRUed, it's a corner case.
There seems to be no rhyme nor reason to this process. Man, ubuntu needs this fixed BAD!
