This is just my opinion, but if you want to extend the life of your tx series tablet, run it in battery save mode ONLY. Tell me what commands to run and I'll post the output here. If you brought it to a shop and they fixed it with a driver or OS reload it will fail again in short order.

I called in today, and the Canadian Tech, John, is sending me a box to send my computer in. I safely uninstalled the network driver 2. It's not rocket science that many laptops have failed, it's thermal diffusion in the semiconductor which speeds up exponentially at high temperatures. So far no one will pay up for fixing the internal card.

Will the tx10000 function okay even if I don't do this?

Don't waste your time tyring to fix what many have already attempted, without success. My wifi stopped working paviloin 4 months and I didn't bother fixing it until my harddrive became defective. However, tx10000 the current flock of nVidia GPU's overheating and warranty extensions it is creating for different models, it would be nice to see my TX 's GPU recalled and have HP extend my warranty.
